Parliament to Resolve Opposition’s Blockade Through Dialogue

Andrija Mandić, President of the Parliament of Montenegro, announced today that the Parliament will address the opposition’s block of its sessions through dialogue between the parliamentary majority and the opposition.

“I firmly believe that the solution lies in reaching a compromise between the ruling majority and the opposition. I think pursuing reconciliation on this matter would be beneficial for Montenegro. Therefore, I will convene a session of the Collegium of the President of the Parliament tomorrow at noon, with the hope that we can collaboratively find a resolution to this challenging situation. It is unnecessary for me to detail today how much harm is being inflicted upon citizens due to the delay in adopting the budget in the Parliament of Montenegro. We’ll have the chance to discuss that as well,” Mandić stated in a video message.
