Criminal Police Summon Ivanovic and Gigovic for Interview at Prosecutor’s Request
The Budva Security Department’s Criminal Police have summoned Predrag Drago Ivanović, the former acting director of the Municipal Utility Company, along with the new head of the company, Ilija Gigović, for an informational interview.
This information was unofficially confirmed to Vijesti by multiple sources.
The police’s involvement comes amid a crisis plaguing the company, which has led to an ecological disaster in the city, with over 150 tons of garbage accumulating on the streets, prompted by an order from the Kotor Basic Prosecutor’s Office.
According to reports, Gigović, as a citizen, has already shared the challenges he is facing with inspectors, highlighting obstacles in his takeover of the company’s management.
For the fifth consecutive day, as the city struggles under the weight of garbage, the two opposing factions have exchanged serious allegations, with new claims of fraud within the company surfacing each day.
Workers of Čistoća were expected to maintain minimum operational processes during the strike as mandated by law, yet this requirement was not fulfilled.
