“Ivan Zvicer Bolsters Buducnost Volleyball Team as Season Resumes”
Montenegrin national team member Ivan Zvicer has signed with Budućnost Volley for the ongoing season in the EPCG Volleyball Super League.
After spending six years abroad, Zvicer’s return is a significant boost for the team and marks a positive development for the Montenegrin volleyball league.
“This will certainly motivate us to work harder, progress, and build the ambition of the senior team,” the club stated.
“I am excited to return to where I began my professional journey after several years overseas. Training with the team in recent months has convinced me of the quality and potential they possess. I’m especially pleased to see numerous young, promising players in the club, reminiscent of my early career days. I trust we can achieve substantial results. Our objective is clear—to win one or both trophies this season,” said the Montenegrin national team serve receiver.
Last season, Zvicer played in China with the Liaoning club, and prior to that, he was with Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He started his career in his hometown of Nikšić with Volej Star, then spent four seasons with Budućnost. His journey includes two stints with Budva and a season each at Mladi Radnik in Serbia, Nafels in Switzerland, and Kladno in the Czech Republic.
