Rifles, Handguns, and Over 1,000 Rounds of Ammunition Confiscated

V.Š. (58), a resident of Zeta, has been apprehended under suspicion of engaging in the illegal possession and transportation of weapons and explosives, as announced by the Police Directorate today.
According to the authorities, border police conducted searches of the residences and ancillary buildings owned by V.Š. (58), during which they discovered and confiscated both an automatic and a semi-automatic rifle that he possessed unlawfully.
“Additionally, from the same individual, two Beretta rifles, five Benelli rifles, two Franchi rifles, a Browning rifle, a Zastava pistol, a Gamo air rifle, a Zastava rifle, and a Baikal rifle, along with 1,100 rounds of various types and calibers of ammunition were seized,” the announcement detailed.
The Police Directorate went on to state that the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has been informed about the case, following whose instructions V.Š. was arrested and charged for the illegal possession and transportation of weapons and explosives.
