Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović is scheduled to visit Poland on January 27 and 28 to participate in the remembrance of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp alongside numerous global leaders.
While in Warsaw, as reported by the President’s Office, Milatović will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Additionally, Milatović will deliver a lecture at the College of Europe, where he will engage with students about Montenegro’s journey towards European integration.
“Besides honoring the Holocaust victims, President Milatović’s visit to Poland will serve as a platform for promoting shared values of anti-fascism and enhancing bilateral relations with Poland, especially as the country assumes the presidency of the European Union,” the statement mentions.
