The Municipality of Herceg Novi has designated the Podgorica-based firm “Entext inženjering” as the best bidder in the tender for outfitting the new bus station in Igalo, with a budget of 3,480,362 euros. The electrical works for this project will be carried out by “Telemont,” a subcontractor also based in Podgorica, while “Geoengineering” will manage the geodetic tasks.
“Entext Engineering” has previously secured the contract for constructing the main bus station along with the access road to the site, making the total investment in this project 9.5 million euros.
This information is detailed in the documentation published on the Montenegrin Central Public Procurement (CeJN) website.
The tender was announced on November 15 and closed on December 16, with an estimated value of 3,499,320 euros. According to the tender conditions, “Entext inženjering” has up to five months from the contract signing to complete the project.
“The contractor guarantees the quality of both the installed equipment and the executed work for a period of 24 months. The warranty begins after the acceptance of the final report from expert supervision and the handover of the completed work and installed equipment,” the documents outline.
Founded in 2007, the company “Entext inženjering” engages in design, construction, trade, and services, as per the Central Register of Business Entities. The founder is Luka Kekovic, with Anđelka Milutinović serving as the executive director.
Construction on the bus station commenced in June 2023, with an expected completion timeline of 20 months. The Municipality of Herceg Novi indicated to “Vijesti” in March of last year that they anticipated project completion by the summer of this year.
“This project is being implemented in partnership with the Administration for Capital Projects, as it has been included in the capital budget of the state for 2024. Equipment setup is scheduled for 2025 and will occur concurrently with the conclusion of the bus station’s construction. We expect the entire project to be finished before the main tourist season begins in 2025,” stated the Municipality.
According to management led by Stevan Katic, the construction phase of the bus station is estimated to cost around 5.7 million euros, with approximately three million earmarked for equipment and landscaping, and an additional 800,000 euros allocated for roadworks. Furthermore, another project involves installing a sewage collector that connects to the Šištet – Bare settlement, addressing significant environmental concerns in the upper part of the Gomila settlement.
