Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević said that he believes that the Government will be able to inform the public tomorrow about the new documents about the Novi Sad Railway Station building that have been published on its website.
He said this in response to the request of the Faculty of Civil Engineering to publish all documents, stating that the government is not hiding anything but is absolutely interested in establishing everything.
“We will have to ask our Chinese partners to let us publish the documents in their possession, concerning the Chinese contractor with their subcontractors, because that is not something the government has at its disposal. I believe we will have support there,” Vučević told TV Pink.
He stressed that the Government, ministries and the railways will provide everything requested.
According to him, if the prosecutor did not have the necessary documentation, he would not have been able to file an indictment in record time for such a complex case, the demolition of a canopy at the train station, which means, as he said, that nothing was hidden or destroyed.
Speaking about the protests, he said that he needed to talk to the students, which was one of the key messages from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić from the rally in Jagodina.
“We are here to hear what they believe has not been met of their demands, because the Government believes that it has been met. Now that we have received clarification from the Faculty of Civil Engineering regarding the documentation, we will complete that. We are always ready to discuss all topics that they think are necessary. Not as enemies, but as people who need to jointly take care of the future of this country,” said Vučević.
