The coalition “For the Future of Budva – Mladen Mikijelj” responded to Nikola Jovanović, asserting that no amount of weak statements can conceal the truth that he has struck a deal with the DPS for governance, a fact publicly acknowledged by all the DPS OKG leaders – Živković, Vuković, and Klikovac.
Mikijelj also addressed the comments made by the leader of the European Alliance list, declaring it beneath his dignity to reply to Petar Odžić and the SDP.
“The unfounded claims that Mladen Mikijelj assaulted Marijana Božović are refuted by the recording she shared, which was an attempt to distract from the assault by your operatives on councilwoman Pićan. Following this assault, the proud leader behind the attempt, Nikola Jovanović, casually remarked: ‘She’s fine’. It is clear that humanity is lacking in such individuals, and dear citizens of Budva, this encapsulates the ‘Cojski’ nature of the citizens’ group ‘Budva Our City’. Regarding personal bravery, the fact that you never make appearances without the company of Slavko Filipović, Ljubo Vulević, Municipal Police staff, and Saša Zejak, who has multiple convictions, speaks volumes. Mr. Jovanović, your leaders are Milo Božović and Radovan Perović, both under accusations of international drug trafficking, alongside Dragan Perović, notorious in Budva for his construction and money-lending activities. You routinely visit Spuž to receive directives that you follow without question,” states Mikijelj’s coalition.
They further added, “It was not Mladen Mikijelj who attended meetings with DPS representatives in recent days; rather, it was you, Mr. Jovanović, along with Momo Leković, who has been arrested in connection with international trafficking of stolen luxury vehicles.”
“Regrettably, if there exists a criminal headquarters in Budva, it is the Municipality of Budva. Initially, you unlawfully seized the vice president position. Subsequently, during an Assembly session, armed individuals were present in the president’s office. Led by Dragan Perović, they confronted councilors and gathered citizens behind the Assembly hall to intimidate and attack. Other notorious figures from the Budva Our City coalition, including Saša Zejak, Slavko Filipović, Nikola Martinović, Miroslav Vujović, Mladen Lakčević, and others, can all be seen in the recordings already available to the public. For those skeptical, we invite you to watch them again. They retreated only when the police arrived and interrupted their aggression.
“Ultimately, it was not the NSD who submitted a proposal for an SDP member, a group recognized for their anti-Serbian and anti-Orthodox stance, to be elected as President of the Assembly, but rather Budva, Our City, under your directives,” the response asserts.
Responding to Petar Odžić and the SDP, the coalition “For the Future of Budva” insists such a response is beneath their dignity.
“Given the plethora of fabrications, any further comments are unnecessary. We find no grounds to invite him for negotiations or partnerships with a blatant adversary of everything outside the Komitas group. Your betrayal, swiftly undermining 5 councilor mandates and voting to curtail the Assembly mandate alongside the DPS, highlights your true allegiance. Jovanović has consistently served the interests of Marko Carević and Milo Božović and is currently serving Mileta Ojdanić. In conclusion, respected citizens, the very individuals linked to the drug cartel and who act as the lowest spies and informers have the audacity to request Mladen Mikijelj for donations. The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral has already made their stance clear regarding their contributions and social media postings. We are abashed by their disgrace,” the statement concludes.
